Zonta Classic 2017

Women Golfing for Women

June 7, 2017

Join us this year for the 20th anniversary of the Zonta Classic

Zonta Clubs in Southern Ontario have been hosting “women’s only” golf tournaments to raise money for breast cancer for more than twenty years now. It began in 1993 when the Zonta Club of Kitchener Waterloo hosted the original event, a tournament in honour of Betty Thompson, a charter member of their club (Miss Betty from Romper Room), who had developed breast cancer. In 1998 they challenged other Zonta Clubs to follow suit. To date, over $2,000,000 has been raised. We are excited this year to be back at Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club.
